Whether you’re coming for a day racing and a nice meal with your partner, an afternoon or evening with friends or a fun day out with the kids, there is something for all the family here at ‘Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse.’

Admission into the Paddock Enclosure allows you access to the main areas of the racecourse, including access to the Parade Ring to view the horses, and with fantastic views of the track.
There is no dress code for the Paddock Enclosure so you can come casually dressed.
Enjoy a drink in the popular Wakeman Bar, or try a pint of Yorkshire’s best in the Theakston Terrace Bar. We have a variety of areas in which to eat, including the Fountains Café, serving a wide range of tasty home comforts or why not try our freshly cooked Fish ‘n’ Chips?
You also have access to the main betting ring at the front of the stands. Various Tote betting points are also available. You also have access to all areas in the Course Enclosure, and there is an option to upgrade to the Club Enclosure on the day for the difference in ticket prices when availability allows.
Picnics are allowed in the Paddock Enclosure, but NO alcohol is permitted. (NO DOGS IN ANY ENCLOSURE)
This particular meet at Ripon Races is a special family fun day!
With plenty of children’s activities, it’s the perfect day for a trip to the races for the whole family!
Don’t forget to tell the children to bring their teddies along to take part in our Cutest Teddy and Most Loved Teddy competitions – there are exciting prizes to be won!
Plus, there’s a chance to win a giant teddy bear mascot, Wilf, in the Teddy Bear Hunt!
The day will also feature Harrogate Theatre’s Pantomime Race.
