NEW: Refurbishment at Ripon Workhouse Museum!

Step into history as never before at Ripon Workhouse Museum, where a £3.3 million transformation is breathing new life into one of the UK’s most complete surviving Victorian workhouses.

There will be new hands-on activities, interactive displays and powerful storytelling, so you can discover what life was really like inside one of Britain’s most complete surviving Victorian workhouses.

The ambitious refurbishment is restoring original features, improving accessibility and creating immersive new exhibitions that will bring the stories of past residents vividly to life.

Set to welcome visitors from 21st July 2026, the project promises a fresh and engaging experience while preserving an important part of Ripon’s heritage for future generations.

How to Redeem

• Customers will receive their voucher via email containing a unique code.
• Visit the Ripon Workhouse Museum to exchange the voucher for an annual pass.
• This pass can then be used for 1 year from that date at all three Ripon Museums sites.

Terms & Conditions

• Must be redeemed at Ripon Workhouse Museum.
• Valid from Tuesday 21st July 2026.
• The voucher can’t be exchanged for cash.
• Annual pass is valid for 12 months based on the number of people listed on the ticket.
• Voucher is valid across all three Ripon Museums only.
• No change will be given.
• Each voucher is identifiable by a unique code.
• Duplicates will be not accepted.
• Pre-booking is required.
• Vouchers are valid to be redeemed for one year from purchase.
